Mollie Harris

Founder & Co-CEO at Heart Creative

Mollie Harris is the founder and co-CEO of Heart Creative. Mollie is also a former food and wellness facilitator, education and writing consultant, and humanities and leadership teacher.

Harris began their career as a food and wellness facilitator with Girls Incorporated in January 2008. In this role, they served as an allies in action facilitator at Emerson Public Charter School and Sherwood Middle School, mentoring girls on topics of nutrition, body image, media literacy, stress management, relationships, and more.

In June 2006, Harris transitioned to a food and wellness education consultant with OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University. In this role, they worked with the Moore Institute for Nutrition and Wellness, the Center for Developmental Health, the Heart Research Center, and Let's Get Healthy. Additionally, Harris provided curriculum development for behavioral neuroscience department research and publishing projects as well as child life volunteer services at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

Harris became the executive director of the Portland Culinary Alliance in September 2012 and held this position until March 2013. Mollie then returned to their roots in education, becoming a humanities and leadership teacher with the Sherwood School District in January 2007. Mollie remained in this role until June 2011 when they transitioned to an education and writing consultant with Leadership Matters. Mollie continued in this role until March 2014.

Mollie Harris has a MA in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College and a BA in Psychology from the University of Portland. Mollie is currently a student at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, pursuing a degree in Psychology.
