Chief Operating Officer at Heart of Los Angeles

Alfonso A. has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as a Congressional Intern at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). Alfonso then worked at the U.S. House of Representatives, first as a Scheduler and later as a Field Deputy, where they served as a liaison to various constituents and managed various projects. In 2014, Alfonso joined the Immigration Center for Women and Children as an Office Manager and later became the Controller. In 2016, they worked as a Pro-bono Consultant at Seed Consulting Group. Most recently, Alfonso worked at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) as the Sr. Director of Finance and Administration before assuming their current role as Chief Operating Officer.

Alfonso A. attended UCLA from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at UCLA, they specialized in Spanish and Community and Culture, with a minor in Global Studies.
