Tamara Đurović, PhD has been working in the field of biomedical research since 2013. Tamara began their career as a Master Thesis Research at the Blood transfusion Institute of Serbia. In 2015, they began their PhD and Postdoctoral Researcher role at Ludwig-Maximilan Universität, Biomedizinisches Zentrum München. During this time, they focused on investigating the neural stem cells in the regeneration of adult zebrafish brain, coordinating and facilitating several biomedical research projects. Tamara also articulated research objectives, optimized protocols and methodologies and conducted lab experiments, analyzed and synthesized data, presented results, and published findings. Additionally, they proactively liaised with other researchers and representatives in the field to optimize novel laboratory techniques, augmenting quality and safety alike. In 2021, Tamara began working as a Laboratory and Quality Manager at HeartBeat.bio AG and as a GMP Expert and Internal Auditor Training at Habmann AufstiegsAkademie.
Tamara Đurović, PhD has an extensive academic history. Tamara obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Novi Sad in 2013. Following this, they completed their Master's Degree in Molecular Biology and Physiology - major Experimental Biomedicine from the University of Belgrade in 2014. In 2019, they received their Master's degree in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University. Most recently, in 2020, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neural Stem Cells, Brain Regeneration and Neurogenesis from the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences - LMU Munich. Additionally, they have two certifications: Pharmaceutical Company Fundamentals (GMP and Quality Control) from Habmann AufstiegsAkademie in 2021, and a Mentorship Certificate from the Amgen Scholars Program and LMU in 2018.
