Tomer Altman

Tomer Altman is an accomplished bioinformatics expert with over 20 years of experience in research and development. As the Senior Bioinformatics Consultant at Altman Analytics LLC since October 2017, Tomer collaborates with biotech companies on bioinformatics and data science projects. Additionally, Tomer serves on several advisory boards, including Daybreak Labs, SRI International's EcoCyc and BioCyc projects, CoVelocity, and Pragma Bio, providing guidance on topics such as AI/ML and metagenomic bioinformatics. Prior roles include Senior Bioinformaticist at WHOLE BIOME INC, where Tomer managed a significant NIH grant, and roles at Stanford University and SRI International as a researcher and programmer. Tomer holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University and a BS in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
