Crystal Elam

Crystal Elam is the VP of Operations at Heartbeat Health. Crystal has over three years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on preventive care.

Crystal started their career at Myriad Genetics in July 2013 as an Account Executive. In this role, they were responsible for increasing utilization of Hereditary Cancer diagnostic testing in regional healthcare provider systems and physician’s practices within the Women’s Health preventive care market. Crystal was successful in this role, and was awarded Mentor of the Year in FY2015 and MVP of the Year in FY2015 by their peers.

In 2016, Crystal was appointed to the directors Council team leader for FY2016. In this role, they served as the liaison between the field and leadership, and developed and championed the 1st annual Directors Council Workshop.

Crystal’s success in the healthcare industry is due to their dedication to their work and their ability to build relationships with their clients. Crystal is an expert in their field and is always looking for ways to improve processes and increase utilization.

Crystal Elam has a MBA in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BS in Marketing Management and Communications from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business.

They are on a team with and Chris Glinski - Senior Director, Strategy and Operations. Their manager is David Dempsey, COO.
