Lorie Cox is an experienced healthcare professional and educator specializing in maternal and infant care. Currently serving as an APR Crisis Hotline Nurse at Heartbeat International since September 2020, Lorie provides support and referrals to women in pregnancy-related crises. As the Director and Certified Pediatric/Infant Massage Therapist at East Texas Center for Pediatric Touch Education, Lorie offers massage education for parents with children of all ages, including those who are premature or medically fragile. Lorie has been actively involved in establishing a home church since 2016 and has owned Perinatal Education Services since 2012, focusing on childbirth and newborn care education. Previous roles include Registered Nurse within the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System and various educational roles at Expectant Heart Pregnancy Resource Center and Marketplace Ministries Inc. Lorie holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from Kilgore College, along with certifications in pediatric and infant massage therapy.
