Renee Chang has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they were the Creative Lead for Asian American InterVarsity. In 2015, they became the Chief Marketing Officer for Joe Chocolates. In 2016, they were a Design Intern for Lippincott, a Design Intern for The Veritas Forum, and a Design Help Desk Consultant and Design Mentor for the University of Washington. In 2018, they became a Senior Visual Designer and Visual Designer II for frog. In 2019, they were a Guest Lecturer for Parsons School of Design - The New School. In 2021, they became a Product Designer for Moment. In 2022, they became the Founding Product Designer for Hearth Display. Additionally, they have been a Freelance for tresrenee.co since 2016.
Renee Chang attended the Belin-Blank Summer Institute in 2008, where they studied Creative Writing. Renee then attended Ames High School from 2008 to 2012. Finally, they attended the University of Washington from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Visual Communication Design degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
