Al Fischer

Al Fischer has extensive work experience in logistics and transportation. Al began their career at The Quaker Oats Company in 1988 as a Manager of Transportation Operations and worked there until 1997. Al then joined Anixter Inc. as a Director of Transportation, where they were responsible for a $100mm freight budget and implemented new programs. In 2002, they moved to DSC Logistics as a Director of Supply Chain. Al joined Hillshire Brands in 2006 as a Director of Logistics, and later worked at Bimbo Bakeries USA from 2011 to 2018 as a Senior Director of Supply Chain Services. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Vice President of Logistics and Transportation at PLZ Aeroscience Corp. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Logistics at Hearthside Food Solutions.

Al Fischer earned their Bachelor of Business degree in Logistics and Transportation from Western Illinois University from 1979 to 1983.
