Chris McDonnell

Chris McDonnell has a strong background in banking, with experience in various roles. Chris is currently serving as the VP Commercial Lender at Heartland Bank and Trust Company since June 2021.

Before that, Chris worked at MidWestOne Bank as the VP Commercial Banking from August 2018 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were with Two Rivers Bank and Trust, where they held the position of VP Commercial Banking from June 2010 to July 2018. In this role, they assisted business clients through the lending process, managed a commercial and consumer loan portfolio, and developed new business deposit and loan relationships.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked at American Bank and Trust as the VP Retail Market Manager from 2008 to 2010. Here, they managed and initiated a commercial and consumer loan portfolio, developed new commercial and personal deposit relationships, and assisted in marketing plans for the Coralville and Iowa City markets.

Chris McDonnell attended the University of Iowa and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
