MICHAEL WILLIAMS

Michael Williams has diverse work experience in the behavioral health field. MICHAEL served as a Case Manager at the Heartland Center for Behavioral Change since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Specialist at Footprints, Inc. from January 2016. Additionally, they were a Residential Coordinator at Preferred Family Healthcare from September 2018 to March 2020. Michael also has experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor at C.O.P.S. Counselors Obediently Preventing Substance Abuse from August 2017 to August 2018, and at MBSS Counseling from January 2016 to January 2017. MICHAEL started their career as a Mental Health Tech/Driver at Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Inc. in May 2015 and served until March 2016.

MICHAEL WILLIAMS has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, MO, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Human Services with a focus on Drug Addiction Services from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they acquired the MAADC II certification from the Missouri Credentialing Board Inc, which stands for Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor. MICHAEL also holds a certification in CPR/First Aid from the Red Cross, obtained in February 2019. Furthermore, in October 2017, Michael achieved the MARS certification (Medication Assistance Recovery Specialist) from the Missouri Credentialing Board Inc.
