Sonja Heckert has over 28 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Sonja currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Patient Services at Heartland Dental since August 2020. Prior to this, Sonja held various leadership roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas. Their roles included serving as a Sr. Director in Resource Management and Analytics, where they monitored and managed contact centers' performance and allocation of resources across five states. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1992.
