Nate Jones, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Heartland Energy since November 2005, after previously holding the role of Market Operations Manager. Prior to Heartland Energy, Nate worked as the Supervisor of Power Supply and Delivery at Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency and as a Consulting Engineer at Holabird & Root. Early career experience includes serving as a Field Engineer at Brookings Municipal Utilities. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University.
