David A. Prince

David Prince joined HTLF as Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking in November 2018. He is responsible for managing all of HTLF’s commercial sales development activities, including training and mentoring commercial bankers, business development officers and treasury management sales personnel. He also heads up the HTLF Specialized Industry units including verticals in healthcare, food/agribusiness, institutional real estate lending, structured finance and capital markets.

David has an impressive background and array of experiences across national and regional financial services companies. He has served in leadership roles at National City, GE Capital and most recently, Associated Bank. David holds his Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management, in Cleveland, Ohio, and he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.

David serves on the board of directors for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce where he is Treasurer. He is also Vice-Chair for HIRED, a non-profit focused on job retraining and career development serving LMI communities across the Twin Cities.
