Michael Sparks

Michael Sparks has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Michael most recently served as the Director of Small Business and Consumer Lending at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. prior to joining Heartland Financial USA, Inc., Michael worked at Bank of the West for seven years in various roles including Sr. Division Credit Manager, Senior Vice President - BCS Credit Manager, and Underwriting Team Lead Manager. During their time at Bank of the West, they managed a team of 60 Commercial Underwriting professionals and was responsible for all commercial credit underwriting for the Middle Market Segment. Before joining Bank of the West, Michael served as a Branch President at Compass Bank and Mile High Banks for a total of nine years.

Michael Sparks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
