Barry Schmit

Barry has over 23 years of experience in general construction, including 20 years as a successful general contractor. For the three years prior to joining Heartland, he worked for a worldwide commercial roofing manufacturer as their US Technical Services Coordinator. In this role, he oversaw all US warranty-related commercial roofing repairs/replacements, as well as the company’s national contractor training program and their seven national training centers. Barry’s passion is to support their veterinary teams by updating and modernizing their practices. In his spare time, he enjoys vacationing with his family, playing golf, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
