Anton Richter

General Manager: Business To Consumer at hearX Group

Anton Richter has had a varied career in the engineering and business sectors. Anton began their professional career in 2010 as a Regional Manager at Pointblank Promotions, where they managed employees across the Pretoria region and supervised various promotional events. In 2012, Anton interned at Toyota, where they received practical engineering training at their distribution center near O. R. Thambo International Airport. Anton also worked as a Brand Ambassador for PHAT that same year. In 2013, Anton became an Undergraduate Intern at ESTEQ. The following year, they worked as a Junior Engineer at Proconics, where they were responsible for final handover documentation for Eskom, team leading and project management, and process improvement. In 2014, Anton was an Undergraduate Engineer at BMW South Africa, where they completed a final year project on electricity usage in the paint shop. In 2015, Anton joined Viewmetrics as a Senior Solutionist, where they were part of the senior management team and responsible for client facing business development, sales & marketing, product development, customer engagement, procurement, and employee mentorship. Anton's current role is General Manager: Business To Consumer at hearX Group, where they are responsible for increasing the profitability of the B2C division and its related products by managing staff, systems, and technologies.

Anton Richter attended Garsfontein Secondary School from 2005 to 2009, where they studied Mathematics, Accounting, Information Technology, and Physical Science. Anton then attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Industrial and Systems Engineering. In addition, they obtained certifications from Alstom Power, SAP, the University of Pretoria, and Garsfontein Secondary School, including Power Plant Cycle Training (2015), SAP I - Introduction to SAP (2014), Leadership Course (2014), and TurboCAD 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional certification (2006).
