Peggy Blackwell has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Peggy has held various roles in multiple companies throughout their career. Peggy worked at Serta Mattress as an HR Generalist from 1999 to 2003. Peggy then joined Burlington Insurance Group as an HR Coordinator in 2003. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Ansco & Associates, LLC as an HR Generalist, and at Senn Dunn Insurance a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company as a Human Resource Manager. In 2014, they joined Heat Transfer Sales, LLC as the Director of Human Resources and Information Technology. Currently, Peggy is the Director of Human Resources at Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc.
Peggy Blackwell, MSL, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse education history in the field of business and human resources. Peggy obtained their Master of Studies in Law with a focus on Business Law and Compliance from Wake Forest University School of Law, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2014. Additionally, Peggy holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Guilford Technical Community College.
In addition to their educational achievements, Peggy has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Peggy completed a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate program from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. Peggy is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Moreover, they hold the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
