Tim Cotton

Tim Cotton is a highly experienced Senior Geologist with a strong background in uranium exploration and development at Heathgate Resources since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tim worked at Cooper Energy from July 2014 to April 2022, focusing on exploration and development in Southern Australia, including field development planning for the Sole Gas Field and the Casino/Henry development project. Tim's earlier experience includes a tenure at Santos Ltd from January 2006 to July 2014, where responsibilities spanned oil exploration and development in the Cooper and Eromanga Basins, including development planning, volumetric estimates, and reservoir modeling. Tim's career began as a Mudlogging Analyst at Geoservices and included a significant role as a Petroleum Geologist at the Department of Primary Industries and Resources of South Australia. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Adelaide, completed between 1998 and 2003.
