Hedley Thorne

Hedley Thorne is a seasoned IT operations professional with extensive experience in managing major incidents and disaster recovery initiatives. Currently serving as the Major Incident Manager at Heathrow Airport since September 2017, Hedley oversees critical IT operations, maintaining communication between Airport Operations and IT while ensuring the integrity of IT change implementations. Prior to this role, Hedley spent four years at Invesco as a Major Incident Manager and Disaster Recovery Lead, where responsibilities included managing IT crises and overseeing disaster recovery exercises for a global investment firm. Additional experience includes roles as an IT Analyst at Invesco Perpetual and as a Service Delivery Adviser at Willis Limited, among others. Hedley holds a BA Hons in Business Studies and Music from Canterbury Christ Church University.
