Paul Stewart

Paul Stewart currently serves as the Rail Training and Competence Manager at Heathrow, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Paul worked at Hitachi Rail from May 2016 to July 2023, advancing from a Learning and Development Specialist to a Senior L&D Specialist, where responsibilities included enhancing workforce competencies and skills in engineering and train operations. Prior to this, Paul accumulated experience in the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Engineering Technician, maintaining Lynx Wildcat helicopters, and began an engineering career as an Electrical Engineer at Innovia Films, where duties included maintenance and installation of machinery. Paul holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Teesside University and an HNC in the same field from Carlisle Technical College.
