Business Change Lead at Heathrow Airport Holdings

Rachel Parker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel started their career as a Lifeguard/Receptionist at David Lloyd Leisure in 2004 and worked there until 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Wine Rack for a few months. From 2008 to 2012, Rachel worked as a Security Receptionist at Securitas. In 2012, they started working at Heathrow as a Security Officer and later transitioned to the role of Security Uniform Account Support from 2018 to 2019. Rachel then became a Team Administrator at Heathrow from 2015 to 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Business Change Apprentice at Heathrow, focusing on change management in the Carbon Programme to achieve Net Zero by 2030.

Rachel Parker earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from The Open University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Multi Media Journalism from Bournemouth University, studying from 2006 to 2007. Their earlier education includes completing 10 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels at Waingels College from 1999 to 2006, with subjects such as Media, Art, English, Maths, and Science, achieving grades between A and C. Rachel has also obtained additional certifications, including the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci and the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management, both in 2023.
