Thomas Bielby

Thomas Bielby is an experienced professional currently serving as the Sponsorship Lead for Surface Access Strategy, Infrastructure, Carbon and Rail at Heathrow since October 2022. Bielby has a strong background in project management and operations, having worked at Network Rail from July 2014 to October 2022 in various roles, including Project Sponsor for Major Enhancements and Interim Resource Manager, overseeing operational rostering and safety for Route Scotland. In addition, Bielby has been the Clerk of the Course for the North East Motor Cycle Racing Club since October 2013, ensuring safety and competitiveness in motorbike racing events. Earlier experience includes supporting sales and marketing projects at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Ltd. and serving as a Duty Manager at Iceland Foods. Bielby holds a Bachelor's (Hons) Degree in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Internal Quality Management Systems, and Strategic Management from Liverpool John Moores University.
