Amanda Yamate

Amanda Yamate is an experienced composer and assistant composer with a diverse background in film and TV scoring. Currently, Amanda is working at Heavy Duty since February 2021, after a period of freelance work beginning in January 2013. Amanda's previous roles include serving as a freelance composer for The Teenage Diplomat and as a composer’s assistant for Jonathan Sanford. Internships at Backyard Industries and Human Worldwide provided valuable experience in studio operations, orchestrating, and maintaining communication between creative teams. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and Composition from California State University, Northridge, completed in 2017.
