Denise Peterson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Denise is currently serving as the President and CEO of Hebrew Senior Care, where they oversee the overall operations and ensures high standards of care and services. Prior to this, Denise worked as the Regional Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Trinity Health Of New England. Denise also held the position of Vice President Professional Nursing Practice, Quality and Chief Nursing Officer at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where they were responsible for various aspects of patient care services, nursing practice, patient safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Denise has also served as the Executive Director Surgical Serviceline at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Vice President Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, and Serviceline Executive Surgical Services, Physical Medicine, and Rehab at Danbury Hospital. Denise started their career as an Administrative Director of Inpatient Services at Waterbury Hospital.

Denise Peterson RN, MSHCA, FACHE, NEA-BC obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hartford between 1988 and 1991. Denise also pursued a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Rensselaer at Work. In terms of additional certifications, Denise obtained the NEA-BC (Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certification) from the ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center in October 2011. Denise also achieved the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from MoreSteam University in April 2011. Finally, Denise has the FACHE (Fellow American College of Healthcare Executives) certification, which is granted by the Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives, although the specific date of accomplishment is unspecified.
