Darryl Kelly has a diverse education history with a range of degrees and certifications. Darryl started their education in 2005 at Florida State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior Studies and later completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing in 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Darryl attended the Florida State University - College of Business from 2009 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

In 2011, Darryl pursued their passion for journalism and emergent digital practices by enrolling in Full Sail University, where they completed a Master of Fine Arts degree (MFA) in Journalism - Emergent Digital Practices in 2013.
