Xiang Xu is a highly experienced professional in the technology and blockchain sectors, currently serving as a Governing Council Member at Hedera since February 2024 and as the Global COE Leader for Digital Strategy Blockchain at Mondelēz International. As a co-founder of SmartGaea.com, Xiang Xu specializes in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, digital wallets, NFTs, and DAOs. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at Cepton and various leadership positions at SAP, including VP and Senior Director, focusing on technology strategy, cloud integration, and post-merger integration. Xiang Xu began a career in consulting and software engineering, with early roles at IKADI and SAP LLC. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from Shanghai University.
