Alexander Reyes

Alexander Reyes is a partner in the firm’s New York City office with over 20 years of experience in assurance and advisory. He is the leader of the firm’s Financial Services Practice and a member of the Audit and Attest Committee.

Alex provides a broad range of assurance and advisory services for financial services, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and middle market clients. Alex has extensive experience with financial statement assurance, internal audit, accounting advisory, business performance improvement, and regulatory compliance for both large and middle market companies.

Alex has experience working on audits of both public and privately- held clients, overseeing all facets of audit and advisory engagements including planning, execution, and audit deliverables for clients in the financial services space. He has advised broker dealer and asset management clients on both accounting, regulatory, and internal control matters and worked with large banking clients on emerging risk and control best practices. In addition, Alex is knowledgeable of the valuation issues impacting private equity and venture capital clients.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Alex held senior positions at Mitchell Titus LLP and Ernst & Young LLP with a specific focus on assisting clients in the financial services industry.
