Simon Carter

Simon Carter is a highly experienced software engineer and director with a diverse background in software development and leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at HedgeFlows since September 2021, Simon also holds the position of Director at QIANALYTICS LIMITED since March 2016. Previously, Simon has led software engineering teams at Toyota North America and worked as a UI Developer at Lloyds Banking Group. Notable projects include full stack development for HSBC Global Banking and participation in a MiFID 2 transformation project at Deutsche Bank. Simon's academic achievements include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, with research focused on improving Statistical Machine Translation systems, and has contributed to 12 publications in the field.
