Pieter Matthee

Pieter Matthee currently serves as an HSSE Advisor at Heerema Marine Contractors since September 2022 and has also held the position of Jr. HSE Advisor. In addition, Pieter is a member of the Security Committee at the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) since February 2025. Pieter was a member of the Faculty Council at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from September 2021 to August 2023. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Safety and Security Studies from De Haagse Hogeschool, an M.Sc. (Hons) in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University, and an Honours in Business and Adaptive Leadership from Leiden University's Honours Academy.
