Matthieu Carre has had a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 with a 4-week internship in maintenance at Delpharm. In 2012, they worked as a Schedule Helper at Cnam (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers). In 2013, they worked as a Six-month engineer assistant work placement at Électricité Réseau Distribution France (ERDF). In 2015, they worked as a Master Thesis research assistant work placement at Linköpings universitet. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a PhD Student within the industry (Thèse CIFRE) at Renault. Currently, they are working as an R&D Engineer with PhD background at Heex Technologies.

Matthieu Carre obtained their Baccalaur\u00e9at S in Sp\u00e9 Physique Chimie from Marc Chagall Reims from 2006 to 2009. Matthieu then went on to get a 5-year Engineering Degree In CS with emphasis on Realtime And Embedded Systems from Universit\u00e9 de Technologie de Compi\u00e8gne (UTC) from 2010 to 2015. During this time, they also obtained a Dipl\u00f4me d'ing\u00e9nieur en Informatique (GI) de l'UTC from the same institution. In 2014 and 2015, they completed a two-semester exchange for a double degree in CS from Link\u00f6ping University. Finally, they obtained their PhD Thesis in Computer Science from the University of Pau and Adour Countries from 2016 to 2019.
