Barry Cohn

Barry Cohn has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the HR and insurance industry. Barry started their career as a Senior Vice President at 1st Business Bank in 1981 and worked there until 1997. From 1997 to 2000, they served as the Regional Vice President at Imperial Bank. In 2000, Barry became the President & CEO of Really Great Employee Benefits and held the position until 2020. Currently, they work as a Senior Vice President at Heffernan Insurance Brokers, starting in 2020. Barry also founded JorgensenHR in 2012, where they currently hold the position of CEO & Chief HR Guy.

Barry Cohn holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, which they obtained from 1979 to 1981. Barry also earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA, attending from 1972 to 1976. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Inglewood High School from 1968 to 1972. Furthermore, Barry has obtained additional certifications such as being a Certified Insurance Agent from Covered California in 2013, and completing certifications in PPACA Health Care Reform and Consumer Directed Health Care from NAHU, in 2013 and 2011 respectively.
