Jaakko Lindfors

Jaakko Lindfors has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jaakko is currently working at Hefmec Engineering Oy as a Senior Mechanical Designer and Project Manager, with a previous role as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at Creators | The Engineers' Club. Before that, they worked at Piikkio Works Oy, where they held the positions of R&D Project Leader and R&D Engineer, focusing on design and product development of cabin module structures. Jaakko'sresponsibilities at Piikkio Works included coordinating international projects and maintaining structural certificates and product data. Earlier in their career, they were a Design Engineer at Mepu Oy, specializing in the development and design of grain handling equipment. Jaakko also had a brief stint as a Mechanical Trainee at UPM.

Jaakko Lindfors obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK, from 2006 to 2010. Jaakko then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Technology Competence Management from Turku University of Applied Sciences, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. In 2014, they also completed basic studies in education, known as "Kasvatustieteen perusopinnot," at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.

In addition to their formal education, Jaakko Lindfors has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the "Projektityön perusteet" certification from Projekti-Instituutti. Jaakko also holds an Occupational Safety Card from Kiwa Inspecta, obtained in January 2021, and a Hot Work Licence/Tulityökortti from SPEK, obtained in October 2017.
