Carlos Sanchez

Carlos Sanchez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the cement and aggregates industry, currently serving as Cement Commercial Director and Aggregates & Readymix Operations Director at Heidelberg Materials since October 2007. In this role, Carlos oversees HC cement and binders sales in Spain and manages the concrete and aggregates operations across the country, including the supervision of 10 quarries and 20 concrete plants with direct reports numbering up to 180. Previous positions include Director of Business Operations & Procurement and Spain Development Director at Heidelberg Materials, as well as President of the Spanish Concrete Association (ANEFHOP) from October 2015 to October 2017. Carlos's career began at Hanson, where responsibilities spanned various managerial roles from February 2002 to October 2007. An alumnus of Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Doncaster College, and AGSM @ UNSW Business School, Carlos holds degrees in Economics & Business Sciences, Quarry Engineering, and an MBA.
