Liam McNamara

Liam McNamara has a strong background in research and engineering. Liam worked as a Principal Engineer at HeidiPay since 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Klarna, including Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2022. Liam also worked as a Senior Researcher at SICS from 2013 to 2016, where they focused on sensor networks, IoT, and data encoding schemes. Liam previously worked as a Researcher at Uppsala University from 2011 to 2013, investigating opportunistic networking and eHealth sensing. Before that, Liam was a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, where they developed analytical models of content spreading and privacy protection in mobile networks. Liam also worked as a Research Associate at University College London.

Liam McNamara completed their education at UCL, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science between 2002 and 2005. Liam further pursued a PhD in Computer Science at UCL from 2005 to 2008.
