Mads Bornebusch has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Mads started their career at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) in 2017, where they worked as a Research Scientist. In this role, they were responsible for developing and testing algorithms for formation flying of multirotor UAVs and coordinating their formation with a fixed-wing UAV. Mads also worked on developing and testing an RTK-GNSS based navigation system for the UAVs.
In 2019, Mads joined ABB as a Project Engineer. During their time at ABB, they worked on project engineering tasks until 2020.
Since 2020, Mads has been working at Heimdall Power. Initially, they held the position of Systems Development Lead in UAV Applications. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of UAV applications for the company. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of UAV Development Lead, where they are currently serving. No end date has been provided for this role.
Mads Bornebusch received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2015. Mads then pursued a Master of Science degree in Automation and Robot Technology from the same university, completing their studies in 2017.
