Magnus Helgeby

Magnus Helgeby has a diverse range of work experience. Magnus is currently working at Heimdall Power as the VP Product, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Software Product Manager for Heimdall Power from September 2019 to February 2023. Magnus played a key role in leading the product design and development process for smart sensing solutions for electrical power grids.

Before joining Heimdall Power, Magnus was a Business Mentor at Spark NTNU from February 2018 to September 2019. Magnus also co-founded Sensero, a SaaS company focusing on energy system monitoring and analysis, and served as the CEO from December 2017 to September 2019. Sensero was later acquired by Heimdall Power AS.

Magnus gained early experience in various roles. Magnus worked as a Creative Director at HARPER & BROOKS from June 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Barista at Tim Wendelboe from April 2013 to September 2016. Magnus also briefly served as a Business Developer at Frank Walton in June 2016. Magnus's earliest work experience was as a Bar Manager at Flaneur Food from September 2011 to September 2012.

Magnus Helgeby earned a Master of Science - MSc degree in NTNU's Entreprenørskole | Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2017 and 2019. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Renewable Energy from NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, Magnus also participated in an exchange semester at UC San Diego, where they focused on Microeconomics and Business. Before entering university, Magnus attended Lambertseter VGS from 2008 to 2011, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
