Jasmin Deforrest

Jasmin DeForrest currently serves as the Managing Director at The Heinz Endowments, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jasmin was with the Gilbert Family Foundation from June 2015 to January 2024, where responsibilities included serving as the Director and later Senior Director of Arts and Culture. Concurrently, Jasmin was the Director of Community Sponsorships at Rocket Community Fund from 2015 to January 2024, focusing on community-based sponsorships in Detroit. Jasmin's earlier experience includes serving as the Special Events Director at The Parade Company from March 2006 to 2012, managing large projects and events. Additionally, Jasmin was part of the Super Bowl XL Host Committee as an Events and Operations Administrator from December 2004 to March 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Wayne State University and participation in the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School in 2017.
