Kate Maiava

Kate Maiava has a diverse work experience in the textile and fashion industry. Kate is currently the CEO of HX Company Limited at HeiQ, where they are responsible for managing key accounts and providing technical sales support. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President Brandforce Australasia and XReflex Global Manager at HeiQ. Kate has also held positions as the Senior Director of Fabric R&D at Old Navy, the Senior Director of Materials Innovation at Under Armour, and the Head of Product Development at All Saints Spitalfields. Kate has experience in sales, marketing, development, and production in both synthetic and merino fabrics. Earlier in their career, Kate worked as the Knits Sales and Marketing Manager at Youngone Corporation and as the Levana Sales and Marketing Manager/TMC Knits Sales and Marketing Manager at TMC - The Merino Company. Kate also served as the International Business Manager and Key Account Manager at Designer Textiles International. Throughout their career, Kate has focused on driving growth, ensuring product quality, and establishing strong relationships with clients.

Kate Maiava attended Auckland University of Technology from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Fashion, focusing on knitwear.
