Christine Mak

Christine Mak has a diverse work experience, having held various roles since 2014. Her most recent role is Executive Assistant to the CEO at Heirloom, which they began in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Upper School Science Teacher at The Nueva School from 2021-2019, Founder & CEO of New Ivy Academy from 2019-2018, Lead Instructor and Director of Curriculum for the Student Preparation Program at W & L Foundation from 2018-2017, Science Teacher at Polytechnic School from 2017-2016, Foreign English Teacher at The Fulbright Program from 2016-2014, and a Special Education Teacher at Teach For America from 2014-2016.

Christine Mak earned a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology and Teacher Preparation from Princeton University between 2009 and 2013. Christine then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Fordham Graduate School of Education between 2014 and 2016.
