Laura R. Vesga Villalba

Laura R. Vesga Villalba, M.A., currently serves as a Program Associate at the Heising-Simons Foundation since October 2022. Previously, Laura held the position of Program Assistant at the University of San Francisco's Center for Global Education from July 2016 to October 2022, where responsibilities included managing student study abroad programs, organizing related events, and supervising student assistants. Additional experience includes participation in Diversity Abroad’s Disabilities Abroad Task Force, a Communications Event Coordinator role at Association Prométhée Humanitaire, and various positions at the University of San Francisco. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights Education and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of San Francisco, alongside international study experiences in Berlin and Paris.
