Dr. Mohd Amir Mat Omar

Dr. Mohd Amir Mat Omar has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Dr. Mohd Amir currently holds the position of Head of Strategic and Corporate Communication at HeiTech Padu Berhad, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Marcomm Director at Pro Office Solutions Sdn. Bhd. from June 2020 to August 2021, and as the Brand Manager from March 2020 to June 2020. Dr. Mohd Amir also worked as the Creative Director at Manchis Media Sdn. Bhd. from May 2015 to March 2020. Additionally, Dr. Mohd Amir has experience in academia, having served as the Head of Programme/Lecturer at the International University of Malaya-Wales from 2013 to 2015, as well as a Lecturer at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) in 2012 and at the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur from 2005 to 2009.

Dr. Mohd Amir Mat Omar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universiti Malaya between 2010 and 2015. Dr. Mohd Amir also holds a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universiti Sains Malaysia, obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the same university from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services, although the year of obtaining this certification is not specified.
