Glen Swanson

Glen Swanson has extensive work experience in operations, quality management, and leadership roles. Glen is currently serving as the Director of Operations/Quality at Heitek Automation since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Manager at Heitek Automation from May 2023 to July 2023.

Before joining Heitek Automation, Glen worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Chart Industries, Inc. from November 2021 to May 2023.

From November 2015 to November 2021, Glen held the position of Head of HSEQ (U.S.) / Member Board of Directors at Aqseptence Group, Inc. Glen was responsible for driving global strategy, guiding diverse business operations teams, and overseeing a range of functions such as lean manufacturing, continuous process improvements, quality and safety audits, and CAPEX program management.

Glen also has experience as a Director of Manufacturing / Quality Assurance Manager at Millerbernd Systems from July 2014 to September 2015. Glen was responsible for managing P&L, operational execution, and continuous improvement for food-grade product development, pharmaceutical equipment, and SS fabrication.

Before that, they worked as a Certified Welding Inspector at HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. from May 2013 to August 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Quality Manager / Certified welding inspector at Applied Vacuum Technology, Inc. from October 2011 to June 2014.

Glen's career started at Crystal Welding Inc., where they worked as an Operations Manager from 2003 to 2011.

Glen Swanson holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management from Metro State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include "Starting a Memorable Conversation" from LinkedIn, "Managing Projects with Microsoft Teams" from LinkedIn, and "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn. Glen also holds certifications such as "Certified ISO 2015 Lead Auditor" from BSI, "Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)" from the American Welding Society, "Lead Auditor" from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA, and "NQA-1 Lead Auditor" from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
