Chief People Officer at Heitman

Darrah Bixler has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Darrah started their career in 1995 as a Manager of Human Resources at Reynolds Metals Company, and later held the same position at PepsiCo in 1997. In 1998, they became the Vice President of Corporate Human Resources at Kelly Services, where they served until 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Darrah worked as the Vice President of Talent Management at SymphonyIRI Group. Darrah then moved on to Accretive Solutions, holding the position of Vice President of Human Resources from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined GoHealth as the Vice President of Human Resources, and in 2014 they became the Chief People Officer at Heitman, where they currently serve. At Heitman, Darrah provides leadership for global human resources, including organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and diversity and inclusion. Darrah is also an equity owner and a member of the firm's Global Management Committee.

Darrah Bixler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kalamazoo College, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Darrah then pursued a Master's degree in Labor & Industrial Relations from Michigan State University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Darrah took part in a foreign study program at the International Institute in Madrid, Spain, from 1991 to 1992.
