Sofie Vandenhende

Sofie Vandenhende is an accomplished innovation officer at Helan. Helemaal welzijn since May 2022, where responsibilities include developing and implementing corporate innovation strategies and facilitating innovation tracks. As a Fellow in Belgium's 40 under 40 program since August 2023, Sofie engages in leadership development alongside a personal mentor and peers from diverse sectors. Additionally, Sofie co-owns Journey vzw, organizing unique travel experiences and team-building activities. Previous roles include innovation and management consultant at Startup Collective, project manager for business design and innovation strategy at leapFORWARD group and Wonderland.network, and hackathon organizer at Hack the Future. Sofie holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from KU Leuven, with educational experiences at the University of Stavanger and Sint-Amandscollege Kortrijk.
