Peter Marland

Pete grew up in Lancashire and he attended the University of Liverpool and has lived in Milton Keynes since 2007. Pete has worked in both the public and private sectors. He has been Leader of Milton Keynes Council since 2014. Previously he worked in finance for FTSE 250 company and has worked in Westminster and Whitehall. He started his working life at Liverpool Football Club.

He is Chair of the Milton Keynes Health & Wellbeing Board, a director of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership, a board member of Local Partnerships, Vice President of Energy Cities, and an Executive Member of the Oxford to Cambridge Arc Group and a member of the Local Government Association Resources Board.
