Julian Kappus has held a variety of positions in the finance and consulting industries. In 2012, they began their career as a Summer Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Consultant at Rothgordt & Cie. In 2014, they took on the same role at Roland Berger. In 2016, they moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they worked as an EMEA Structured Credit. In 2020, Julian became a Founding Partner at Collective Ventures, a Berlin-based business angel network. Finally, in 2022, they joined both Heliad Equity Partners as a Managing Director and FinLab AG as a Member of the Management Board.
Julian Kappus attended EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2010-2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in General Management / Business Information Systems. In 2012, Kappus completed an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore, studying Investments & Real Estate Finance. Kappus then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance at Esade from 2014-2015.
