Joseph Hangarter

Joseph Hangarter has a diverse work experience in various industries. Joseph currently works at Helio Genomics as a Full Stack Engineer, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Code Fellows as a Software Engineer from March 2019 to May 2020, specializing in Javascript, Node.js, React, Python, and Django. Before transitioning into the tech industry, Joseph worked at Swinomish Casino & Lodge, first as a Security Officer from September 2013 to September 2015, and later as a Surveillance Observer from September 2015 to February 2019. Joseph also has experience serving in the United States Navy as a Master at Arms (MA) from March 2009 to March 2013.

Joseph Hangarter completed an Associate's degree in General Studies at Columbia College from 2014 to 2021. Joseph then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2021 to 2023. In addition to their academic achievements, Joseph obtained various certifications including C#, React Development, OOPS, Advanced Software Development in ASP.NET Core, Advanced Software Development in Python, and Advanced Software Development in Javascript. Joseph also holds a security clearance (Clearable) from the US Navy.
