Brandi Bookhammer

Brandi Bookhammer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Brandi is currently serving as the Head of Recruitment Operations (Director) at Heliogen, a position they have held since November 2023. Before joining Heliogen, they worked as a Senior Talent Partner at the same company from October 2021 to November 2023.

Prior to their time at Heliogen, Brandi worked as the Head of Recruitment (Manager) at Romeo Power Technology from July 2020 to October 2021. Brandi also held the position of Head of Recruitment (Director) at Flirtey from April 2018 to July 2020.

Brandi's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Hyperloop One from February 2017 to January 2018. Brandi also had a significant tenure at SpaceX, where they served as the Manager, Intern Program & Lead University Recruiter from May 2013 to December 2016 and as a University Programs Recruiter/Outreach from July 2010 to May 2013.

Before joining the space industry, Brandi worked at Raytheon, where they held various roles including University Programs Recruiter from February 2009 to July 2010, Human Resource Specialist from June 2007 to February 2009, and Supply Chain Specialist from October 2004 to June 2007.

Lastly, they began their career at Volt Information Sciences as an On Site Program/Client Manager from April 2000 to October 2004.

Brandi Bookhammer earned an Associates Degree from El Camino College from 2002 to 2006. Brandi then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, with a focus on History & Political Science, from Chapman University from 2006 to 2008.
