Dick Snel

Dick Snel has extensive experience in risk management and corporate banking, currently serving as a member of the Central Clients Council at Heliomare since June 2023. Prior to this role, Dick Snel worked as a Risk Manager b.d. from April 2019 to March 2024 and held the position of Head of Risk Management & Compliance at Bouwfonds Investment Management from 2005 until March 2024, overseeing the Risk Management Department. Dick Snel's career began at ABN AMRO Bank, where positions included Vice President and various roles in risk management in Amsterdam and London, as well as Senior Account Manager for Corporate Banking in London and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Dick Snel served as Division Manager for Corporate Banking at Saudi Hollandi Bank from September 1997 to July 2000, leading a team and managing a portfolio of corporate clients. Educational background includes studies at Nibe from 1984 to 1987 and attendance at Myrtus College from 1971 to 1978.
