Sachin Desai

Sachin Desai serves as the General Counsel at Helion since September 2021, focusing on the legal aspects of pioneering fusion power plants for sustainable energy. Prior to this role, Sachin Desai was a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells from June 2016 to September 2021, where legal expertise was applied to the nuclear power sector, including advanced reactor licensing and decommissioning projects. Earlier experience includes a Law Clerk position at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Sachin Desai began a career in consulting as a Business Analyst at Deloitte and also holds a Luce Scholarship position at the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
